Kleidung: Costa Rica ist ein sehr zwangloses Land. Förmliche Kleidung ist ansich nur in der Hauptstadt San José üblich und sonst nur an sehr speziellen Gelegenheiten (Hochzeiten, Geburtstage, Jubiläen, etc.)
Wir empfehlen Ihnen einen Pullover oder eine Strickjacke für das eher kühle Hochland und leichte und lockere T-Shirts, Hosen oder Jeans und kurze Hosen für das eher warme und feuchte Tiefland mitzubringen.
Für den Strand vergessen Sie bitte nicht einen (Sonnen-)Hut, Sonnencreme und eine Sonnenbrille mitzubringen.
Für den Regenwald und die vielen National Pärke empfehlen wir Ihnen folgendes mitzubringen: Wander- oder gute Turnschuhe, einen kleinen Rucksack, eine Wasserflasche, Taschenmesser, Taschenlampe, Insektenschutz (!!!), Regenschutz und allenfalls ein Fernglas um Tiere zu beobachten.

Today our adventure starts early morning to reach the Pacuare River for a rafting trip. This river has been officially declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white water in Latin America, winding deep inside of one of Costa Ricas most impressive primordial rainforests. Breakfast on route and lunch is served along the river. After this tour, our representative will transfer you under shuttle bus basis to the Arenal area.
One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this area

A late afternoon visit to the trails of El Silencio and the volcanic thermal mineral pools at Tabacón Hot Springs, where you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak and enjoy of a delicious dinner.

Morning departure to the Arenal Lake where a boat will be waiting for you to provide a shuttle service. On the other side of the lake, a bus will take you on gravel road to reach Monteverde.
Monteverde was founded about 40 years ago by a small group of conservation-minded Quakers who were looking for a peaceful place to live. Its Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life sanctuaries in the tropics. Check in at Trapp Family Lodge or similar

Morning visit to the Sky Zipline & Tram facilities. The Sky Trek is a system of seven platforms suspended above the ground in the midst of tree boughs. Zip lines attached from one platform to another will allow you to slide with the use of special equipment. In Sky Tram explore the world famous Cloud Forest of Monteverde in a 5,249 feet ride that would lead you up to Costa Rica Continental Divide.

After breakfast you will depart on shuttle bus towards the Central Pacific Coast to the small town of Jaco. Check in at Club del Mar hotel. The afternoon is free to explore the surroundings

This morning you will be driven to Agujitas Beach to start an exciting sea kayaking adventure. Imagine yourself cruising silently past spectacular cliffs full of pelicans and frigate birds in a craft pioneered by the Polynesians and perfected for tourism here in Costa Rica. You will travel under your own power accompanied by up to 7 other paddlers and your guide or steersperson (timonel). Its like rafting on the ocean to a secluded beach. The warm waters of the Pacific are home to a large variety of tropical fish that are looking forward to swim with you as you snorkel and explore the underwater world with your guide. Return to the hotel.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the beach or take a hike at the Carara Biological Reserve (tours not included into package)
