At Beija Flor restaurant, our chef Christian Schwaiger offers a daily-changing light menu, inspired by modern French cuisine and Asian influences. We emphasize on using fresh fish and produce from our local farmers. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere in our open-air restaurant or the romantic settings along the poolside amidst our tropical gardens.

Deluxe Garden Bungalow - Our Deluxe Garden Bungalow have large private patios in the front and back, with chairs and hammocks; furthermore they are equipped with A/C & private bathrooms with open-sky showers.

Deluxe Room - Our Deluxe Rooms are equipped with A/C, internet connection, private bathroom with open-sky shower, and a hammock outside.

Master Suite - Our Master Suite has a large front patio, equipped with chairs and a hammock; furthermore it is equipped with A/C & a big private bathroom with an open-sky shower.

Master Villa - Our Master Villa offers two bedrooms, an extra individual bed and a fully-equipped kitchen. It offers privacy while being just steps away from our restaurant and pool lounge area.

How to get there: From San Jose it is a 3½ hour drive. Take the Pan American highway North to the port of Puntarenas. Follow the signs to downtown Puntarenas, it should take you a 2 hour drive. When you arrive to Puntarenas follow the signs to the ferry of Paqueras. You must board the ferry to Paquera. Once you arrive to Paquera, it will take you another 1½ hour to Mal Pais. Follow the signs to Mal Pais. At the entrance to Mal Pais you will see Frank Place. From Frank Place turn left 600 meters. You will see the sign for Beija Flor.
